I Once Had A Friend

 I once had a friend


who was the reason I gave myself a chance again

have stuck with me all through the chaos I was in

made me believe in things I generally won't 

and helped me conquer the devils I feared

wiped my tears and cleaned up all the my bruises

made me stronger than I ever used to be

was the reason to trust people again

and made me smile after eons of pain



We told each other that we shall stuck with each

other through every success and adversity

and I believed that day isn't far away

But one day my friend vanished

And I have become alone once again

Holding onto the memories I have of my friend



They say our guardian angels disappear once their duties are fulfullied, 

but I am not sure if it's already done.



Sometime later I met a person who was in the same state 

as I was before I met my friend. While I was trying to help

my new friend I realised my friend has been with me in 

everything I have learned not just the memories, made me realise

doing what my friend helped with me makes me thankful for the memories

I have of my friend fresh alive in the back of my head.


Giving the same love I once received made me love myself

more and made me a better Person,

All thanks to that guardian angel a friend I once had.
